Managing his first fully original establishment Twin Bridges through trial and error, he acquired solid experience over time, which allowed him to gradually increase the number of hotels. He had ambitious plans, conducted in-depth analyses of markets, products and new funding schemes, and took well-thought-out, bold actions. He launched his own brands, while taking other known and renowned brands under his wing. Being the true leader that he was, he successfully navigated his company through crises that emerged on the market. Owing to him, Marriott has become the number one in the global hotel industry, setting standards of perfection and genuine hospitality.
