Charles Baehler

A hotel tycoon of Egypt

Swiss hotelier who made a great career outside his home country. As a young ambitious man, he reached Egypt, where he first perfected his management skills and then started leasing or taking over more and more existing, well-located hotels, doing his best to turn them into profitable investments. Over time, he became the manager of the biggest hotel group south of the Mediterranean, earning himself the title of the “uncrowned king of Egyptian hotels.”
